Handyman Club Of America - Life Membership of Handyman Club
I have been a life member of the club for since 8/14/1996 and have seen the benefits disappear over the years. I have not seen a magazine for quite a while, can't find expert advice, plans, ideas, and can't take advantage of tool testing either.
I would like to know where the benefits I purchased are or who I would talk to for a refund of my life membership.
I am disgusted with the organization and feel they have taken my money under false pretense. I am not receiving any of the benefits offered and agreed to provide when they accepted my payment of $267.00.
Reason of review: Lifetime Membership contract broken.
Monetary Loss: $267.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
Handyman Club Of America Cons: New owners not abiding by contract, I no longer get to test tools, We didnt get what was promised.
Location: Humacao, Humacao

I have had no response since my original post from the owners of the Handyman Club of America and understand that they are now under new management. The company was sold.
I guess we are just thrown out with the other garbage. No respect for their loyal patrons.
I am "Life Member" as well for a while. Is there any progression in remediation?
For what it "was" worth, I gave my brown leather HM Club of USA to Goodwill.
Big time frustrated! At least I am able to vent here...
Been a life-time member since 1998. Stopped receiving my magazine in 2014 just like that for no reason.
I am going to be in Minneapolis in a few weeks and I plan on stopping by. WE WILL GET THIS STRAIGHTENED OUT, OR ELSE!!!!!
Have you found out anything?
I, too, am a lifetime member and when I went into the website of the new owners, (scout) they have sports news on there and can't seem to find any "how to do" projects. Very upset with this change. I do miss the magazines.
I have been a master life member since 02-04 and I have not heard any thing from you for over a year I would like to be on your mail list if I have been dropped for some reason you did a good job till last year
Club members # 7064**** been a member since 2009 everything was going good then the last tools and magazine stop in 2014. I would like a refund.
Add me and my membership in on the list of dis-satisfied lifetime members
I'll be happy to join the suit. Just let me know what I need to do.

I havw had the same problems and I'm hoping to get some answers. Was a great Magazine
I have contacted the Better Business Bureau. I am lodging a complaint with BBB.
Scout.com now owns the magazine and it is online only. I may file a suit.
Need several others to join Class action suit. But first BBB asking for full refund
